I run this site, Automate to Profit. I’m based in India, and I started this because I got tired of AI tool reviews that were written by people who had never actually used the tools they were recommending.
Every tool on this site has been tested for a minimum of 4 weeks, on real affiliate campaigns, with my own money. No free access deals. No sponsored rankings. No exceptions.
This Site Didn’t Start With a Business Plan
Let me be straight with you. This site didn’t start because I wanted to “build a brand” or jump on the AI hype.
It started out of frustration.
Around early 2024, I kept seeing the same pattern everywhere. Every “AI tool review” site looked polished, confident, and completely useless. Tools were rated 9.8/10 after someone used them for maybe 10 minutes. Half the links were affiliate links. Most of the reviews felt like they were written before the tool was even opened.
At the same time, I could clearly see something bigger happening. AI tools weren’t just improving productivity — they were quietly changing how people make money online. Affiliate marketing, content creation, lead generation… everything was shifting.
So I decided to do something simple, but time-consuming: I started testing these tools myself.
Not demos. Not trials. Real usage. Real campaigns. My own money on the line.
Till now, I’ve spent over $2,400 testing 50+ AI tools across different categories — content generation, traffic tools, funnel builders, and automation systems. Some worked. Many didn’t. A few were outright scams. And that’s exactly why this site exists.
My Background — Why You Should Even Listen to Me
I come from a sales and digital marketing background, where numbers are everything.
For years, I’ve worked closely with online platforms, client acquisition systems, and performance-driven campaigns. My day-to-day work has always revolved around one thing: what actually converts.
Not what sounds good. Not what looks impressive. What works.
That mindset carried into this space. When I test an AI tool, I don’t care about its interface or fancy features unless they translate into results. Can it generate leads? Can it help close sales? Can it save time in a way that actually impacts income?
If the answer is no, I don’t recommend it. Simple.
Tools I’ve Personally Used (With My Own Money)
I don’t review tools I haven’t paid for. Some of the categories I’ve personally tested include:
- AI content generators for blogs and affiliate sites
- Funnel builders and landing page tools
- Traffic generation tools across multiple paid platforms
- Email automation and newsletter systems
- AI-based ad copy and creative tools
- SEO tools tested on live affiliate sites with real traffic
- Video AI tools used to produce actual YouTube and short-form content
Some of these tools helped me generate actual results. Others looked promising but failed when used in real campaigns. And that’s the gap I’m trying to fill here.
How I Test Tools
This is the most important part. Every tool you see on this site goes through the same process. No shortcuts.
1. Minimum 4-Week Testing Window
I don’t review tools based on first impressions. Every tool is used for at least 4 weeks before I write a single word about it.
2. Real Campaign Usage
I use the tool in actual affiliate or marketing campaigns, not in isolation. If it doesn’t hold up under real conditions, the review reflects that.
3. Money Invested Upfront
If a tool costs money, I pay for it myself. No “free access in exchange for a positive review” deals. Ever.
4. Traffic + Conversion Testing
I check whether the tool can actually bring traffic or improve conversions — not just output content that sounds good.
5. Ease of Use for Beginners
If a complete beginner can’t use it without confusion, I call it out — even if the power-user features are impressive.
6. Long-Term Viability
I look at whether the tool is sustainable or just a short-term gimmick. A lot of AI tools in 2024–2025 disappeared or pivoted completely within months of launch.
7. Honest Verdict — Even If It Hurts Commissions
If a tool is bad, I say it’s bad. Even if it means I don’t earn a commission from that review. You’ll see plenty of tools on this site that I tested and chose not to recommend.
Why This Site Is Different
Here’s the thing. Most sites in this space are built to sell first and inform later.
I’m doing the opposite.
I’d rather you trust one recommendation here and come back, instead of buying five tools that don’t work and quitting altogether.
Because if you’re serious about making money online — especially with AI — you don’t need more tools.
You need the right ones.
